Commerce association was formed with the intention of providing a platform to the commerce students of SDM college Honavar. To build their personality to allow the students to explore further through participating in co curricular activities under the banner of commerce association. Different activities and competitions related to commerce and business are organised through this association, to the benefit of students like business quiz ,brand Rangoli competition, product presentation, advertisement, role playing etc. Office barriers of commerce association are nominated from the class representatives of each class. One boy representative and one girl representative will be first nominated for every commerce class. Every commerce students take membership by paying membership fees as decided in the association meeting. one of the faculty member of commerce department will be the advisor of the association and other teachers extend their help in hands. Further event and programs will be organised after discussing with a class representative and association representative and office bearers along with the teachers in the meeting. usually at the end of the academic year, association activities will be closed by organizing grand event called “commerce fest”.
